The short version
This page is general information only — not legal, tax, or insurance advice, and no substitute for individual advice. Tariffs, prices, and requirements can change and are provided without guarantee; always rely on the insurer’s current terms and the relevant authority’s requirements. For advice tailored to your situation, consult an independent insurance advisor/broker or the responsible office. No liability is accepted for decisions made based on this page. Transparency: some links are referral links; if you take out a policy we may earn a small commission, at no extra cost to you.
What a referral link is
Links to Care Expat World and its application form carry our partner reference. If you take out a policy after following such a link, the insurer's distribution partner, Care Concept AG, may pay us a commission. You pay the same premium as anyone else; the price comes from the insurer's official premium table.
What it does not change
- We publish the plan's limits as clearly as its benefits: entry before the year you turn 65, no home-country cover for citizens of countries outside the EU and Schengen area, zones that exclude the USA, China and Singapore in Zone 1, and the start-date rule.
- We never claim that a plan is accepted for a visa unless the insurer confirms it in writing.
- Where a visa requires local insurance (for example Spain), we say so and do not promote the plan for that purpose.
- Our guides on visas, cost of living and healthcare are written from official sources and would read the same without any referral link.
Who we are
We are a publisher, not an insurer and not an insurance broker. We do not give individual advice, and the contract is concluded only between you and the insurer. Read how we work and see our imprint and privacy notice.
