Who is responsible

What we collect
- No account, no forms, no newsletter: you can read every page without giving us any personal data.
- No analytics and no advertising trackers: we do not run analytics, tracking pixels or advertising cookies, and we set no cookies of our own.
- Calculators run in your browser: the figures you enter into our calculators and checkers are processed only on your device and are not sent to us.
Hosting
The site is delivered by Cloudflare. To deliver pages securely, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the requested page, as a processor for us. We use this only to operate and protect the site (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Insurance applications and referral links
When you open the Care Expat World application, the form is provided by the insurer's distribution partner, Care Concept AG, either embedded on our apply page or in a new tab. Everything you enter there goes directly to Care Concept AG and is handled under their privacy notice, not ours; we do not receive your application data. When the embedded form loads, your browser connects to Care Concept’s servers, which receive technical data such as your IP address and may set their own cookies under their privacy notice. Links to the plan contain our partner reference so that a commission can be attributed if you take out a policy.

Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict or object to processing and to data portability, and you may complain to a data-protection authority. Because we hold no personal data about readers ourselves, requests about an insurance application should go to Care Concept AG.
Changes
If we add features that process personal data, for example a contact form or analytics, we will update this notice before they go live.
